ST VEEP PARISH COUNCIL INVITE YOU TO JOIN THEM ON LERRYN VILLAGE GREEN AT 7.50 pm SUNDAY 18th SEPTEMBER 2022 TO OBSERVE THE NATIONAL ON MINUTES SILENCE IN MEMORY OF THE LATE QUEEN ELIZABETH II. 7.50pm Opening Address by Cannon John Halkes. 8.00pm. Period of silence to be observed. 8.01pm Applause for the late Queen Elizabeth II. 8.05pm The Proclamation to annouce the new King, Charles III, will be read by Councillor John Hancock (Chairman of St Veep Parish Council). GOD SAVE THE KING.

The Parish Council generally meets every 1st Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm in The Red Store, with occasional exceptions. Please see the calendar for confirmation of Meeting dates. Members of the public are welcome and there is a public session at the start of the meeting, where issues and concerns can be raised with the Councillors. Seating is limited due to the size of the building, please ensure you book your seat 24 hours prior by contacting the Clerk.
